Server hardening is the process of reducing a server's attack surface by removing unnecessary software and services, applying secure settings, limiting access and enabling logging. We use CIS Benchmarks as a reference and adapt them to each server's role.
We test changes in a staging environment or on a non-critical server first, document exceptions applications genuinely need and include rollback steps.
We work with cloud and on-premises gateways, as well as native protection in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and help you decide whether a separate gateway adds value.
